What challenges did you face when considering offshore development?

We were faced with the challenge of maintaining product quality while lowering development costs.

What concerns did you have about offshore development?

We were concerned about the lack of communication due to language barriers and unexpected situations due to differences in values.

What were your impressions and satisfaction with the service?

We rarely had direct communication with the local development team, and meetings were held with Japanese-speaking staff, so we rarely felt that this was the case because we were using offshore. In fact, we are very satisfied with the quality of the product since we were able to check each other’s definitions in more detail than with a normal domestic outsourcing service.

After using our offshore development, did your impression of offshore development change at all?

I am not an System Engineer, so I cannot say whether the quality of the internal program is superior or inferior, but I did not feel that it was difficult to use because it was developed offshore. In terms of being able to keep development costs down, I would like to continue to actively use offshore development services in the future.
